We welcome gently used books in good condition, and we also accept puzzles for our sales. Please avoid items that are damaged, moldy, heavily marked, or otherwise unsuitable for resale.

We’d love your help! Volunteers can assist with book sales, sorting donations, special events, fundraising, and other FOSL activities. You can volunteer occasionally or become more involved as a member.

Our 2026 book sale is Friday, October 9 from 10 AM–6 PM and Saturday, October 10 from 11 AM–5 PM at Skyway Library.

Book sales typically happen on the first weekend of October. Look for us at community events like the Renton Farmers Market or the Skyway Halloween Takeover!

And don’t forget that we host an ongoing book sale section near the entrance of the Skyway Library. Our volunteers rotate the selection regularly, so take a look when you’re in next!

You can drop off cash or checks to the box located near the entrance of the Skyway Library.
